We caught up with Stacie Hess to find out a little about this amazing mama, behind the lens.
Tell us, who are you and what do you do?
I’m a mommy to an incredibly dynamic little 8 year old. A globe trotting photographer and model who first started in front of the camera at the age of 11. Acting brought me to Los Angeles, from Hawaii, at the age of 14, as one of the original Disney movie girls. I first picked up a camera just a few years ago and am totally self taught. I prefer to be behind the lens these days!What are you loves?
Traveling. Great food. The beach. Favourite quote?
“It is what it is” — because it is. I think I say this way too much (my mom can’t stand it haha), but I try not to let anything affect me too much. To take it in, realize it and move on. A reminder that we take the bad with the good. Life is a constant and always moving. No matter how good or bad a situation is, it will change.Current location?
Having a fabulous vacation along the Mexican Caribbean coast at the Papaya Playa Project in Tulum [a destination described as a “communal playground for the creative community” promoting a holistic and spiritual lifestyle and raising the bar for sustainability and cultural awareness within the hospitality industry…we can’t wait to go!!!How gorgeous is Amelia in these shots from Tulum, scroll on for tropical day-dreamy goodness!
